Post subject: Is Clickbank effective on its own?
|

| True that clickbank certainly provides you the platform to allow affiliates to see what product you are offering but the concrete way to get more affiliates is by contacting them directly. After all, affiliates are the real important key to any business. Hope this helps. |

Here's my tuppence worth:
Click bank is a good place to start if you're new to affiliate marketing as many have said, simply because there are soooo many products to choose from - you're bound to find something you can promote with ease or talk about knowledgably and convincingly.
Personally though I prefer smaller companies where you can feel more involved and even in some cases have direct communication with the program manager or product owner(s).
I think it's a good idea to start with stuff you know about and feel confident promoting, then use the knowledge and experience you gain from that to expand into niches you may be less familiar with.
Thats what I did, anyway. _________________ $50 sign up bonus, 50% commission on high converting products? What are you waiting for! |

The networks are really different by the products & programs they are promoting.
Google Affiliate for example (which you never mentioned, but they are really big players in the industry) and linkshare usually works with brands and well-known sites. The commissions are usually very low, and the authorization is not automatic.
ClickBank from the other hand has non-branded sites (some of them may consider as "spam products") but they offer much higher commissions (the authorization is mostly automatic).
You can also try Directories that offer Affiliate Programs. They usually don't charge money for listing the programs, so more companies will list themselves there.
There are also many individual programs that doesn't work with networks/directories that you can try.
However, to give you better tips you have to tell us more about your site (what niche is it dealing with, where do you generate your traffic from etc. ).
Good Luck,

Well, there are many ways to promote your product.
here are some:
Many affiliates fail in affiliate marketing because they limit their marketing strategies to placing referral links in their web sites, distributing links to business sites through multiple emails or posting their links to other web pages. Doing any of these alone would not guarantee sales and thus, your commission.
First, provide visitors of your website enough information about the product. Aside from your website design, the content of your web page counts a lot in capturing the interest of the guest. Your web pages must contain factual and objective articles on the product, such as product reviews. In the informative articles, state the products' special features, benefits and advantages over other brands of its kind. Take note, you are not selling but informing.
Second is through the use of testimonials and endorsements from respected or relevant individuals who are using the product. This sounds like a familiar marketing strategy but this still works. These testimonials validate the information you are presenting about the product; this way, you build confidence and trust of the client.
In addition, you exude an impression that you are an expert in the field since you are able to prove that the product and services you are offering really works as assured. Remember that your prospects are also conducting researches on their own so make sure you can back up every claim with facts and figures.
Next promotional strategy is through marketing banners. Make these banners attractive enough for visitors to click them. However, don't overuse banners as they can make your site messy, too. Webmasters say users generally do not have negative remarks about banners. In fact, they appreciate that they can shop through the site they frequently visit. _________________ Traffic Geyser

Ok. None of those links went to anything of mine. I am looking for whether publishers have a preference of a specific system, because then I could use that system _________________ Motorcycle Mirrors

Hi,..
Click Bank is very popular with affiliates. ClickBank brings vendors and affiliates together in a very honest way. It's meant primarily for marketing digital products, like ebooks. It's a good service and very reliable. _________________ buy websites for sale |

The best advice I can give you is that Clickbank is the best out there because everything is pretty much automated.
You don't have to deal with any affiliates.
You don't have to send these affiliates payments because clickbank does all that for you.
Their tracking is just awesome and they have been here a long time.
Plus, they pay everyone every 2 weeks. I know that others pay once a month.
Clickbank is the best out there in my view.
Now, should your product get rejected by any of the affiliate networks that you mentioned in your post, there is always others to rely on. _________________ Work At Home Directory

Hi,
We tried pepper jam and found that they sounded very convincing but in the end all they had were masses of coupon affiliate sites which did not make sense to us since we are in a premium market.
Be careful with the contracts as they had all sorts of ways not to let you stop using them. Even though they produced zero results. The acknowledged that they were coupon based and not a right match for us but insisted on charging us monthly for zero results. - So read the fine print and ask what the exit procedure is if you are unsatisfied.
We have found much better success with a bit of hard work and word of mouth for our program. Its better to write to affiliates and explain what your program is. Better yet talk to some super affiliates and ask them what they want and what they think about your site and program. There is no better marketing expert out there than the front line soldiers - Affiliates. We took some hard critic and eye opening suggestions. And now we have build our program and site around Affiliate input.
Its easy to want to link into those big networks. And for some price based products/services it might make sense but if you want to build a long stable business...it will take a bit of hard work.

We have affiliates who have several programs going on at once. With us they have the long term and stable income but quite a few have things on click bank. Seems click bank, at least for some things, works beautifully. Especially for customers who buy once. PepperJam we found was hundreds of Coupon based affiliates...
If you are an affiliate we recommend you diversify into 2 markets and different products. Click Bank for faster cash one time sales and another where you build a customer base for life. This system will be like an investment portfolio where you have risky but juicy high returns stocks (click bank) and then fixed income guaranteed income bonds (like us maxalife)...If you diversify too much your efforts will be the same but the results will get you no where. |
