Hi all,
How many Business marketing sites/newsletters etc. do you visit and/or subscribe to. 
I'm sure we all come across all kinds of FREE  interesting Web Site Promotion ideas throughout many, many different sites.
We know everybody's selling something But...
How about we all Share the FREE ideas we all come across by posting some quick non-affiliate Links, where possible to the Articles etc.

Hi All, 
This is one of the great promotion ideas I've seen:
You can connect your website or product with
current newsworthy ideas and receive a flood of traffic.
If you sell widgets and there is a World Widget
Tournament, you can get lots of exposure that way.

Here's a couple:
First, blogging. Blogs are very popular these days and often get indexed by the SE's pretty quickly. Your blog could point people to your affiliate site or include the affiliate links right there. It takes time to make a good blog, but it can be worth it.
Second, signatures. Your signature is a great place for a link to your site. Put one in your forum posts, your e-mails, anywhere that you can.
I'll add more when I think of them.

I'm always looking for unique marketing ideas. Here are a few that I like.
Advertising your products on Ebay to create some valuable leads.
Posting reviews on Amazon books that are related to your websites topic.
Posting to similar forums and blogs.
I think it is crucial to be involved in forums. They provide lots of networking opportunities and you can learn so much from the other forum members.
Most of the traffic to my websites, however, comes from search engines. I have a site called [URL deleted - Moderator] that has around 25,000 pages and gets about 2500 visitors a day. This is mostly due to search engine queries. Content is always king. When I create new sites, I continually look to create search engine real estate.

Article submission is a good excercise to increase your visibility on internet. There are thousands of websites where you can promote your articles and can get plenty of quality links.
Article publishing was quite popular in 2004/05, but after 2005 there were several changes in the search ranking algorithms. Search Engines are becoming more and more aware of the search environment within their search engine ranking algorithms.
Several new techniques have been implemented like "duplicate content penalty". It is making difficult for webmasters to score top rankings by publishing thousands of articles on different websites.
If your 100 articles carry same content then it will surely deliver duplicate content penalty. This will eventually lower your rankings.
