Post subject: Clickbank hops

I have signed up for clickbank and have been browsing availabe affiliate offers. My question is this, the redirect links that I have seen link directly to the homepage. Why wouldn't it direct to the order page? Is this typical and if so, what is the advantage to me as an affilliate. Am I being short sighted in wanting it to go directly to the order page?
Thanks in advance for any help! _________________ Leah |

As an affiliate, your job is to presell the product, not sell it. Let the merchant sell the product. In this case, you need them to go to the sales page.
If, however, you are preselling and selling the product, then I can see your wanting to go direct to the order page.
One of the reasons I haven't done much with promoting Clickbank products is the hop to the home page. I found some great products but the home page is selling a variety of items and doesn't focus on what I sent the visitor for ... frustrating
