Power-RSS

Over the last few weeks I have been educating myself on RSS and have found Adrian Lings resources to be of good value. I bought his progamm "Power-RSS" which updates your site(s) automatically and, very important, does it in a way that makes your site(s) grow naturally. You can setup different cron-jobs which update your content with relevant information and archive's it so no content gets lost. The rotating Cron jobs possibility is THE best part of it as, even if you would have the same type
of content on your site as mine, you will never get the same kind of content and if you press "refresh" you will get new datafeeds. Very nice this is, It will create archive pages so that your content does not get lost and your site has the latest data on your topic. The scripts come with extra's for maximum effect and, of course, you can put your adsense ads in it if you want that.
Last but not least, the script templates can make all of this blend in with your site's looks.

I highly recommend this progam (this is not a sales talk, there is no aff. link here in my sig), I really do.
Go to Adrian Ling's site to see a sample of it.

Regards,

C.F.

Thanks for this - I'm just trying to grasp the concept of RSS myself, and this sounds like a useful tool, so I'll check it out.

Well you should write about something in history, not something that is going on right now, because everyone knows about current events like the oil spill. I think you should write a four page essay on something in America's history. Did you know that next year, 2011, is the 150 anniversary of the Civil War. Thats a good topic. You could go on and on and on about the Civil War and I guarentee your teacher will like that topic and appreciate good researching. Or do something in pop culture, like The Beatles or something. I am just thinking off the top of my head. I hope you get a great idea!

I use rss a lot, I bring feeds into yahoo pipes, then filter them. I've also experimented with a number of other feeds.

I wish more programs would provide affiliates with rss affiliate feeds, it'd make things a lot easier for me.
