Post subject: Note From Ken Evoy Regarding "SBI! Resellers"

Hi to all,
Someone at SiteSell drew my attention to the fact that a few SBIers are selling the second site that they received during one of our Buy-1-Get-1 specials. Those specials are intended for the SBIer him/herself or friends or family.
-----SIDEBAR-----
We will be discontinuing these specials due to the popularity of our monthly payment option. For example, you will not see a Mother's Day special (yes, it's coming up, so start thinking about some OTHER nice gift for mom! )
-----SIDEBAR----
However, there is no real way to "police" this, nor does anyone at SiteSell want to. But please do beware of how The Guarantee is affected. If you buy a "grey market" SBI! as outlined above, we consider you to be a friend or family member of that SBIer and that you know how The Guarantee works for these specials...
1) If the SBIer refunds SBI!, the free site comes down, too. It rarely happens among friends and family, but this is different and I don't want ANYONE to be unhappy. So please be aware.
2) If you decide that SBI! is not for you, you must go to the SBIer (who sold it toy ou) to honor the Guarantee and not us because we did not make that sale, nor was a sale actually permitted.
I'm sure that anyone who gets SBI! for half-price is going to be more than delighted. There are more and more copy-cat CTPM ( ctpm.sitesell.com ) products coming out, so we must have started something good! Just be sure you're dealing with someone who'll honor the usual terms that we do.
Finally, if you are an SBIer who is selling the extra SBI!, this is not, strictly speaking, permitted. In all of our promos, it's always about using it yourself or giving to friend or family (or splitting price with them). We never suggest to sell them on the open market.
No one from SiteSell is going to police this, though -- we're just not into that. But we do believe in clarity. So do govern yourself to SiteSell's standards when dealing with third parties as outlined above.
All the best,
Ken |
