Calling all affiliates, what do you look for most in a program? Payouts, payout frequency, ad supplies, the actual product? What draws you to the program? Just curious as I am scouting for a "few" good affiliates and I like to know what they need to make them happy. |

Jim, there are 2 or 3 threads on here that go into quite a good amount of depth on this topic. Do a search, or browse around ... I'm sure you will find some great ideas

I will do that thanks. I consider what I offer my affiliates to be the cream of the crop but I was just looking for the affiliates actual feedback |

I look for a reputable product, with a great website. But what's even more important are generous payouts, timely payments, and an abundance of creatives. I often sign up for a new program and then have to look elsewhere due to a lack of creatives. For banners there should be some towers, 125x125 and obviously 468x60. 120x60 also works well.
It also depends on the product category.

not to spam but feel free to check out our program. If you want banners, there are 100's of them http://ww.rhinoprofit.com. 60% payout every 2 weeks and we use cascading billing which consists of 3 billers to ensure a sale. Is that too spammy? LOL Contact me to chat more jim@rhinoprofit.com |

I look for affiliate programs that pay a good commission and have a two-tier program. I also like affiliate programs that other people have recommended and have been proven to pay well. I also like affiliate programs that let you track your sales and click throughs. _________________ Lots of information about making money here:

Ok I appreciate the reply, We pay 60% on all sales. Pay 10% on webmaster referrals. Which is if you send a webmaster to our program, whatever he sells commission wise you receive 10% for doing nothing. As for tracking, thats all done in real time via a user interface. We have cascading billing which uses 3 processors which in turn improves conversions immensely, seeing as the initial processor might have fraud scrub turned up high on any given day. That way we can trickle the clients card through 3 billers and if he isnt authorized with 3 billers, he's certainly broke. Get paid for all upsells on the join page also. Good stuff and we have only opened the doors for affiliates in the last 3 months. Its been all in house. Hope thats not to spammy for you guys. Happy 2004' http://www.rhinoprofit.com |

These are what I look for in an affilite program!
What products will I be able to offer my customers
Will the products be easy to sell and are they in high demand
How many competitors are already selling the products
What sort of statistics and tracking do they offer
When do they payout
What is their minimum payout
What percentage of commission do they pay their affiliates,
etc. _________________ Affiliate Programs Directory - Over 2,000 Programs
