I've read quite a bit about affiliate marketing, and I have been looking and thinking for several days about possible programs or methods that may work for me. After looking around and reading tips on this website, I was definitely interested in the idea of starting off by promoting a membership website.

My question is, where exactly are you all looking to find these membership websites ? is there a directory ? or do you just search around Google until you find them ?

also I had a fairly general affiliate marketing questions.

when marketing, is it best to create a niche blog and then connect products related to that niche into the blog. Or to create a website/blog that is specifically aimed at a product ?

thanks

You can check out our affiliate program for a membership site in the stock market niche that pays recurring monthly commissions.

You can search the Clickbank marketing place - there is a little icon on the listings that shows that recurring income is available.

For affiliate marketing I prefer to just create a domain that links straight to the sales page affiliate link and then drop that link into article directory resource boxes, blog posts, blog comments etc. The affiliate owner spends his time honing his sales page to convert - I just want to get traffic to it and not have to worry about perfecting my own website.

A site can never gain widespread popularity if it is too complicated and difficult to navigate. Making it free to access your site also helps since not every visitor to your site is looking at a cut from your revenue or credits.
