I would like you to achieve the same kind of success that so many people are having with SBI!. It's always a surprise to me when someone asks for a refund. This is not about the money, it's about Ken hating to see you make a mistake.

I see from your order that you purchased at the time of a $100 Special Promotion, where you receive two SBI! subscriptions for $399. It's an extra-big shame to give up such a great deal. When we process your refund, both subscriptions are cancelled and deactivated at that time.

Oh neither K .. or Ken have bothered to reply that's one reason why I've done this post!

The other is so others are aware of what they're in for, before they consider purchasing SBI (short for Site Build Illusion).

Like most businesses once they have your money they want to keep it.

I have no problem with them defending and trying to find out "why" a person might want a refund.

But at some point this might not be the right product for everyone.

So my question after reading all of the above is did you in fact get your refund?

I have a fairly long fuse... but once I'm ready to move on... I consider continued attempts to salvage my business a mistake on the sellers part. It makes me more angry and less inclined to play nice.

Let us know the result. I think that SBI is a pretty good product for some people. I don't use it, nor do I promote it. But I can definitely see your point.

I'm very sorry you are unhappy, but nothing is being hidden from you. Brainstorm It is free to use. But one source of the data is owned by a 3rd party and SBI has to pay for certain keyword searches (not all).

That is why they supply you (free of charge) with the amount that works for most people. If you go over that amount, you have to pay. That's only fair, because it keeps costs predictable and prevents abuse.

I've used Brainstorm It extensively and I found it more than adequate for my business. In fact I always have a ton of credits in my account because I get more than enough. If you are a Brainstorm It power-user, it's only fair for everyone to have you pay extra. But it's not much - $20 for 100 searches. That is dirt cheap! Unless you're using this for a purpose for which it is not intended, it would be quite difficult to burn up 100 BI searches.

Here's the official SBI documentation:

I know it's easy to get upset on the Internet because you don't see people face to face. Using email, you don't always get an immediate response. It's easy to fill in the blanks with bad or alarming information.

But I can tell you that as an SBI user, this is one of the most decent and ethical companies I've every dealt with. There are always two sides to every story and with SBI I have there is always a reasonable explanation for things.

Hi TK,

I'm sorry to read that you are somewhat disappointed.

I think Brenda's reply is excellent and don't think I can add much to it.

I'm an SBI'er and an affiliate, I love the program so I admit to a certain amount of bias.

But I can assure you SBI ain't no illusion and neither is Ken.

What I would say are illusions, are all the Get Rich Quick deals.

SBI does not promise that, and indeed, does not work like that.

To succeed takes study and plenty of work. Also you have to stick fairly rigidly to the Action Guide. That does not suit everyone.

Those that are able to put in the work, follow the Action Guide and be patient will find their efforts pay off.

But if SBI is not for you, then it's not for you. hope you find something that suits.

a. how much Brainstormit credit they get? &;

I am sorry you had a bad experience with SBI. My experience with them has been just the opposite.

I knew up front I would have only 25 wordtracker searches. Found that plenty for what I needed.

I was very skeptical at first also. I researched and studied everything I could find on SBI before I took the plunge and bought a 2 for 1 package.

I was very nervous about spending the money when I knew absolutely nothing about building a website, but their guarantee convinced me to try. It was the best business decision I have ever made.

Their action guide is wonderful. It doesn't just teach you how to build a site...it provides tips and advice on building a successful site. I watched the videos and printed the guide out and studied it on my lunch breaks, riding in the car with my husband, even waiting for doc appointments Smile

I built my first site in July of 2008 and my second site in October of 2008. First site is my pride and joy and also a wonderful source of income. With my second site, I thought I knew everything and didn't even bother to use those free word trackers...big mistake...picked too board a niche and after struggling with it for a couple of years (got smart and started using better keywords) I sold it for a nice profit. Hint...pick a topic you love...cuz you are going to spend a lot of time with it Very Happy

For my birthday last year, my dad gave me a SBI package and I built my third site on a subject I love...small business accounting. This site now brings in a very nice income for me too.

Biggest point I want to make...it wasn't easy. I knew absolutely nothing about a web business. But I took a wonderful product (SBI) and worked my butt off to make it work. This year all that hard work paid off when in March my husband was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer and because of my web business income my dear husband has been able to stay home and get stronger.

I guess I just wanted everyone who reads this post to know that not everyone has had a bad experience with SBI. They have answered every question I have ever threw at them even the stupid ones Very Happy and have been the most supportive company I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

I used SBI for awhile and was pleased with the results. I ended up going off in a different direction, but not because of anything they did.

The thing I found useful was all the free materials that they provide up front. Armed with the knowledge laid out in Ken's C->T->P->M you can build a successful website at SBI or on your own.
