Post subject: When do I add the merchant links to my website?

I am almost done with building my website (exitgreen.com) but before I make if public I need to add merchant links. However, I am not sure at what point I should add them? Since I want to research merchants first from e.g. cj, I don't want to make my website public until I have done so. But will cj let me sign up and research before I make my site public? I have 3 books about this, but none talks about when to add merchant links, before or after going live. Thank you!  |

How do you expect your site to get indexed and crawled if it's "not public".
You add your links after you do your marketing. It's really that simple.
It's not like you are going go to "go public" and just have a flood of hungry buyers.

once you signed up to cj or cs you can add merchants' link' which are active. Since your site is newly built, you have to optimize it and get more backlinks and high traffic.

You need to make your site public first before you can get link from the merchant. How can they help you promote your site if its still unpublished. When your done with your site start joining affiliate programs and optimize it to get a lot of traffic and of coaurse to earn a lot of money.

I would suggest to make your links public before adding merchants. There is a chance that the merchants will reject your site because it's not a public site, and they can't expect u promoting their offers without any traffic.

You can add links at any time, but recommend to add links after the website is online
