Google Images has indexed billions of images. If your image can be found for the right keyword, then you will get targeted visitors to your website.
Why images can help you to get more visitors
Depending on the search query, Google displays several images above the regular search results. For example, try this search for German Shepherd Dog:

Nice information. Thanks for sharing.
When it comes to image optimization, image file name and alt text plays a huge role. Most webmaster though tend to ignore image optimization. _________________ marketing advice to Atlanta Marketing website!

Image search optimization is about using images on your website to draw more "click-throughs" from the search provider, my experience is that the idea of optimizing images has been put on the back burner because of the wide penetration if broadband in recent years thereby raising your rank in the search list. This, in turn, helps to ensure that you keep getting more visits to your site. A neat article I just found by typing "image search optimization" into Google Search is linked below. Images are optimized by providing ALT text for the image that includes keywords about what is in the image. I did like your approach in your presentation - the global view of optimizing, saving bandwidth, saving energy, etc. _________________ all american packaging |

Hello Friends......
Heavy images cost you money and traffic. They cost you money because they require both significant storage space and bandwidth. Since your web host will usually give you a limited amount of storage space and a maximum data transfer allowance, heavy graphics can cause you to exceed those limits, in which case you’ll have to pay extra.
