Received a reply from SBI support:
| Quote: | We've been having some problems over the weekend from both
the Philippines and Singapore. Would you post in the Forum
and ask these folks if that is where they are?
We have specific steps to take, but they are blocked from
their ISP, not from our side. |
Is that where you guys are? Reply here and I'll let them know. _________________ Why Do Most Affiliates Make Less Than $500 Per Month?

I can login to sitesell website using my friend's computer but I can't login using my own computer.
I had sent an email to sitesell support using my friend's computer and they gave me a reply below. But I still have the same problem after I did all the steps mention by the sitesell support.
Sent by sitesell support:
Please check your browser settings with the recommendations below. It is crucial that these three settings be set correctly in order for Site Build It! functions to operate correctly...
o your browser settings
o your system time and date settings, and...
o your pop-up blocker settings.
BROWSER SETTINGS
INTERNET EXPLORER
If you are using Internet Explorer, you can add sitesell.com to your trusted sites, rather than lowering your security settings for all sites on the Internet:
1) Go to Tools> Internet Options.
2) Select the "Security Tab."
3) Select "Trusted Sites."
4) Click "Sites."
5) Uncheck "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone."
6) Enter sitesell.com (without www.) at the top and click "Add."
7) Click "OK."
Click "Default level" if that option is offered.
9) Click "OK."
MOZILLA FIREFOX
1) Go to Tools> Options. (For Mac, this menu can be found under Firefox> Preferences.)
2) At the top, click "Content."
3) Either...
Uncheck the option "Block Pop-up Windows" to disable the pop-up blocker for all sites.
Or (recommended choice)...
a) Click "Allowed Sites" ("Exceptions" for Mac)
b) Enter sitesell.com (without www.) at the top and click "Allow."
c) Click "OK."
4) Check the option "Enable JavaScript."
5) Click "Privacy at the top."
6) Click the "Cookies" tab
7) Either...
Check the option "Allow Sites to Set Cookies"
Or...
a) Click "Exceptions."
b) Enter sitesell.com (without www.) at the top and click "Allow."
c) Click "OK."
Click "OK" at the bottom of the Options dialog.
NETSCAPE
1) Go to Tools> Options.
2) On the left, click "Site Controls."
3) Click the "Trust Preferences" tab.
4) Select the "Use Netscape Trust Ratings for Site Controls"
option.
5) Select the "Automatically configure my Trust Settings according to Trust Ratings."
6) Click "OK" at the bottom.
OTHER BROWSERS
Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, and Netscape are the browsers recommended for SBI! (including Brainstorm It!) and other pages on the SiteSell site. Other browsers will usually work, but may sometimes interpret script functions in non-standard ways that could cause issues in the execution of some functions.
We strongly recommend using one of the browsers mentioned above. However, if you are using a different browser, please make sure that its settings are as follows...
o Cookies are enabled for all sites or, at a minimum, for sitesell.com and all sub-domains.
o Pop-ups are enabled for all sites or, at a minimum, for sitesell.com and all sub-domains.
o JavaScript is enabled.
*POP-UP BLOCKERS*
Many Brainstorm It! and Site Central functions will display results in a new browser window. Pop-up blockers may prevent these windows from opening.
If you followed the instructions for your browser settings above, the pop-up blocker integrated into Internet Explorer, FireFox, and Netscape will be disabled. However, if you have any added toolbars installed, note that almost all toolbars also include a pop-up blocker. Some of the most popular toolbars include Google, Alexa, Yahoo!, MSN, etc.
Please consult the Help function for all your added toolbars on how to disable the pop-up blocker altogether or, at a minimum, for sitesell.com and all its sub-domains.
If you think that you disabled all your pop-up blockers, but an expected window is not opening up, you may still have some incorrect settings for one of your pop-up blockers.
Test this by holding down the Ctrl key (Command key for Mac
users) while clicking the button that is failing. (Keep the key pressed for a few seconds.) This will temporarily disable most pop-up blockers. If the window is now opening, it indicates that some pop-up blocker is still active on your system. Please double-check the settings for all your pop-up blockers if that is the case.
*SYSTEM DATE AND TIME*
Cookies expire according to your system time and date settings. If your system's time and date settings are even slightly incorrect, cookies may expire immediately or after a very short time, logging you out prematurely.
WINDOWS
In Windows, the best way to ensure that your settings are correct is by using the Windows Internet Time function...
1) If you are not currently connected to the Internet, establish your Internet connection.
2) Open the Windows Time and Date properties by double- clicking the clock in the bottom right of your screen.
3) Click the "Internet Time" tab at the top of the Properties window.
4) Make sure that the box for "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server" is checked and the "time.windows.com server" is selected in the drop-down menu.
5) Click the "Update Now" button.
MAC
The most convenient way to make sure that your MAC is always set to the correct time and date is by using the automatic time and date update function...
1) Click on the blue apple at the top left of your screen.
2) Select "System Preferences."
3) Click on "Date and Time."
4) Check the option beside "Check Date and Time Automatically."
5) Choose the time server (Americas, Europe or Asia) depending on your geographical location.
The date and time will then be updated regularly with the Apple time server. |

I am now able to access sitesell! Thank God.
Let me tell you the whole situation on why we can't access sitesell website and how to solve.
Actually the ISP in Singapore, Singnet, some how blocked sitesell related sites. I have spoke to Singnet and they shows me how to fix it.
Using IE:
- Go to Tools
- Internet Option
- Connection Tab
- LAN Setting
- Check the box "Automatic detect setting"
- Check the box "Use your proxy for your LAN"
- Under "Address" type "proxy.singnet.com.sg"
- Port Number: 8080
- Check the box "By pass proxy for local addresses"
That's it =) Enjoy! |

Hey guys,
thanks for posting this.
i have been trying to figure this out for a day!
now that i can finally visit SBI site, my concern is, what happens to the rest of the Singaporeans?
They are the major part of my target market...
Can't afford to loose the traffic because Singtel blocks them.

Calbel I also faced the same problem as yours. My website is a Singapore based
air-con company and if singnet user are unable to view my site I lost alot market.
To all singnet user whom is using sitesell:
Please call singnet technical support and complaint about this matter. We need more people to push them to solve this prolem. If they said they did not block any sites. Tell them that all ISP are able to view sitesell related sites except singnet. If they still don't believe, tell them to go to www.sitesell.com (they will not be able to view it) and ask them to go www.guardster.com to view www.sitesell.com ( they will be able to view it). Guardster is able to view sites which ISP had blocked. These can proves that singnet really blocked sitesell. |
