I've read a blog that talks about the basics of SEO but I'm not really sure If I understood it correctly so I need the experts here to enlighten me on this.

Yea,right keywords are definitely important! i'm using my competitor's keywords at semrush.com. sometimes it is very interesting and profitable to spy  |

Patience is the key. Most of the method you apply will show results only after weeks. Also if you choose a high competition keyword, you might get no result at all. I think keyword with search volume between 50,000 to 100,000 is good one. But its my view some SEO expert might disagree.

Your post present that you are talking about keyword rank..First check the best keywords on which you have to focus,then use your keywords ac an anchor text linking towards your site..Also notify your kajor competitors..

I dont think focusing on shortcuts is a good idea. A planned SEO campaign will help you to get more stable SERP.
Keyword research, keyword usage is very important for long term SERP.

Important Factors for ranking in 6 days :
Relevant content
Search engine submission
Use short tail keyword
you should be catche for all page
you put robust.txt file.
Then you easily get Ranking...
