| If you do please share it in this thread. Also do linkshare send payment on time. I've search the net and it seems there is quite a bit of people complaining about late payments, but all are old forum posts from 1-2 years ago. When do linkshare send payments? |

I am not a fan of their "system" - reporting, passwords, etc. I find it clunky. However having said that there are a few vendors that choose to use them so I participate. Sometimes you don't get to chose your business partners business partners

Thanks for responding. I've read on another forum that linkshare's premium merchants are the list of merchants that pay on time. So I probably only will use the premium merchant's affiliate programs.
I also have another question. Do linkshare send checks twice a month? |

I have used them and they seem fine to me. I was promoting OverStock and SierraTradingPost via their product datafeeds, which unfortunately I had to get from their sites and not linkshare as linkshare charges for the service for small affiliates.
I did pretty well with these via my product price comparison which I ended up shutting down. I even managed to get just over $100 for one of the sales with overstock. It's not really much though considering the sale was for just over $1,000.
About payment. Yes I did receive payment, but occasionally I would find that I would have about 5 checks from them in a week or 2 weeks period for small amounts instead of having just one larger check.
Don't know why they done that. lol

Link Share is my favorite network but i don't like their link structure i mean too long URLs.

LinkShare is a great affiliate program is only good if you have a way to control and today is easily one of the largest affiliate networks in the world. I personally prefer to create a database of links then call them one at a time using a java applet that was made as an ad rotator.If you are doing any marketing on the Internet and are not already a member of LinkShare, then this short review of the Company may be something of interest to you. Do a yahoo search for free java scripts and you will find one named something like developer.net or the likes. Linkshare is the other top affiliate network providing affiliates access to hundreds of merchants. They have tons of free codes. Naturally, you will only want to share links with sites that will compliment your site, and not steal your visitors.

LinkShare is an affiliate network that offers commissions on primarily Cost Per Sale (CPS) transactions.I knew you'd be able to contribute something to this thread. Makes sense about the banner ads too. We all get ad blindness and you would expect less clicks on banners.

Once you reached the minimum it takes about 15 days to get the check at your home. Might not be the accurate time ... but you get the money for sure.
