Post subject: Put AdSense immediately on a new site???
|
|
|
I read from an internet marketing expert (who sells courses, and seems to know what he's talking about), that one should wait 90 days before adding AdSense to a new website, as it is only designed to be added later, not to be the focus of a site.
How true is that?
I understand that one must have other revenue sources on a site, before adding adsense, but waiting 90 days, how important is that?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Um... Do you want to miss out on 90 days of revenue?
Actually, a brand new site may not get much traffic and may not earn much from AdSense anyway. But if you're getting traffic, you're just throwing it away if you don't monetize it. _________________ Allan Gardyne

I doubt a new site will get much revenue (unless it virals) but you don't want to add the advertisements after people are used to not seeing them. Almost like giving people something and taking it away. Your "old" users will probably get pissed and think it's become a spam site (even if the ads are in good taste and well placed). Set it and forget it until the big traffic comes in _________________ 100% Revenue Sharing! Get Paid NOW! Earn $$$Game Videos, Ask a Gamer, Game News |

I am against that view. I will put adsense ads from day one. When you first launch your site, your advertisement is intense and I think its good for adsense as well.

I wouldn't put it on any site that is not generating at least 100 page impressions per day.
The reason is Google pays next to nothing on new sites with no traffic. So there is no point in having ads that do nothing.
You are not losing anything... it's pennies at the most per day.
Create value in your site then add the ads in later. _________________

I disagree with him adsense is a steady flow of cash to pay your hosting, internet connection, scripts and advertising for your site. That way when you sell your products you will have your overhead covered. _________________ Life is Good,OleTom

Its actually not like this. But some experts suggest that when you have some content and some traffic then put your adsense ad.This job may take for you 90 days or it may take 10 days. What I personally do is that after indexing of my blog in google and after indexing some of my articles in google results then I place my adsense ads in my blog and That works great for me. _________________ Buy real twitter followers | Buy real facebook fans | Buy youtube views |
