Hi everyone,
I joined an affiliate program yesterday that has some
of the coolest banners I have ever seen.
The offer is for interactive software that lets
you create little talking animated characters for your site. Fun stuff.
When you move your mouse over the banner a pretty woman comes
to life and talks. Then she follows where you move your mouse
with her eyes and turns her head. She keeps blinking.
You can type whatever you want her to say in a box at the
bottom of the banner. After she says it, you are taken to the
http://www.sitepal.com website.
I could not resist interacting with the banner. I checked my stats
for yesterday, and I had a 50% click through rate.
You can see the banner at the bottom of my home page.
Resist it if you can. _________________ Jim Crawford

(Un)fortunately, I have ActiveX set to prompt, so I missed the banner. But all was not lost...
The beard stroking idea was fantastic...
I'd like you to understand that stroking beards is something I usually reserve only for myself, but as I didn't trust your ActiveX I was feeling guilty.
Cheers,
Charlie.
P.S. All this reminds me of a rather dubious joke (which I neither necessarily approve of nor endorse)...
An old lady was sitting on a bus, when a naked man with a beard got on. The old lady had a stroke.
(For the odd American out there, "stroke" is English for "brain attack".) _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

I was a little concerned that the banner would not
work for some people, but oh well. It was just too fun to pass up.
Thanks for rubbing my beard Allan like it many years ago
when he came by to visit. He even used it as the quote of the week.
I found it here...
