Post subject: Membership site software recommendation?

I'm thinking of setting up a membership site. I am not sure which script to use.
I am looking for one that has
- unlimited license (meaning can install on many domains without paying extra)
- add new member to Getresponse automatically (user will get confirmation email from Getresponse automatically).
- generate discount code (give away free membership during a contest, etc)
- works in a shared Linux host environment
Amember looks good but the price is too high. Hopefully the price is less than $50 (free will be great).
Any advice?

consider DLGUARD you can install on 1 or 2 domains but have it work with countless domains that does membership

It might not be a bad idea to build your own. I've done that with a couple of my most recent membership websites and it's worked out nicely for customization.
