Post subject: What Do Affiliates Want?
|

|
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if you could point out a few things that you as an affiliate look for when signing up for an affiliate program. For example the percent of commission per sale, ect.
Thanks! _________________ Amy Anderson

Hi,
When I'm signing up for an affiliate I look for the commission rate (20% or above) and most importantly I also look for tier 2 affiliate programs (earning money from affiliates who signed up under affiliates who signed up under me)
I also look for cookie duration when a visitor clicks my link to the affiliate site. I also look for affiliate programs where I can earn money when a customer renew their subscriptions.
Hope this helps. _________________ Daniel D Dwase

The three main things I look for is whether or not there is a demand for the product, whether or not it converts, and whether or not the author takes an ethical approach to marketing it and offers a good product, the latter of which mainly applies to Clickbank or Paydotcom. _________________ Wealthy Affiliate Review

| Most affiliates want high paying good converting offers. many like to be paid on a net 15 basis but that is hard to do. they also like international offers and some like incentive but incentive is trick because a lot of fraud comes with that |

Whether the product is a good fit for my visitors!
That sounds more than a tad pompous but . . .

I usually think in that way - if i'd be a potencial customer, would i buy this product? They must convince me that this product is really good. Only after that i'm thinking about commission and other things.
Before i was in affiliate marketing i had few blogs, where i made money with adsense. Once i bought "Safe Mail Services" from affiliate marketer, so i could get more traffic my blogs (back then i didn't know anything about affiliate marketing). Now i'm trying to sell it myself (you can see link in the signature and... yes - it's an affiliate link) because i know, that product which i'm selling is good and customers will like it. Of course, you don't have to always buy it to find out if the product you're trying to sell is good, but it's the best way. _________________ P.S. sorry for my bad english, i'm just learning.
