Post subject: Universal Marketing Media did not pay my commissions

I've been promoting Universal Marketing Media (UMM)'s product for some time (about 2 years) and they have been sending my affiliate commissions through PayPal just fine.
But in June 2009, they sent me an email telling me that they just issued a check of about USD 500 for my commissions.
It's been months since I heard from them (they had been accumulating my commissions month to month) and it was weird... usually they pay me through PayPal, but this time they issued a check.
I contacted them telling that I want my commissions to be paid through PayPal as usual, but they said that from that time on, this is the ONLY way that I can receive my commissions through.
OK, I thought.
Then when I tried to cash the check, the bank said that there was NOT enough money in the account to cash the check! 
So, I contacted Gladys from UMM via email about this and she said that she forwarded the email to Juan Walker, UMM Chief Operating Officer.
It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard again from them!
I've been emailing them about this issue 3 times and still NO ANSWER.
Just today, I tried to access the affiliate area of UMM at http://affiliates.universalmarketingmedia.com/ and guess what...
There's this weird notification:
The requested Domain appears to be unsupported.
Please check for typos and try again
Is UMM shutting down?
For those who are actively promoting their products... BE CAREFUL!
