Hello there,
I am looking for a solid network of affiliates to promote my Forex trading course and I have been recommended Share a Sale. I have noticed that they charge $350 as a startup fee.
Is it worth the price for being listed in their market place? Thank you!

I was referred to ShareASale.com by another merchant who is very satisfied with the program. I am brand new but chose ShareAsale because of their policy against parasites and because the second-tier model fit our needs. On the first day I was contacted by an affiliate requesting to join our program who has posted some very helpful information to merchants at:

I would promote your campaign through as many reputable affiliate networks as possible and that way you are not limiting yourself.

We have our programs in shareasale and are very pleased. Quality affiliates. I recommend them. Startup costs are affordable for anyone which is refreshing.

I'm an affiliate of shareasale and have been for over several years. All I can say from an affiliate look at things is that it's one of the best networks I have been with and therefore would try out many of the merchant programs listed if and when I would need to use them.

Thier are many sites you can set up affiliate program for it. If the course is a ebook you have even more sites to ad it to.

As an affiliate, I like quite a lot of what shareasale offers me; for instance, the Make a Page tool is fantastic - I just wish more merchants used it. I love the downloadable datafeeds - and it's easy to pick up the correct code for banners, text links, etc.
Compared to the mess that CJ seems to be at present (some of the vendors products don't show up for me to collect links - even with a targeted keyword search), I'd recommend shareasale anytime.
I also like the ability to check out which programs offer auto approval - it sends my blood-pressure through the roof when I have to wait for days/weeks/months to find out if I have been approved for a program.

It just makes sense to pay for setup, shows you're serious.
Affiliate network is taking risk by letting new merchant in the network. What if merchant doesn't convert traffic well (bad reputation to network), what if merchant shave affiliates (bad again)? what if merchant runs away with money (crazy, isn't it)?
So it just makes sense to pay your way in. It will also gain trust with affiliates so they actually try to promote your product. |

It is a good site.
It is not as crammed full of merchants as CJ. You might get lost in the crowd over at CJ. But I don't think they have a lot of Forex programs showing up when you do a search. (as I recall - two pages).
With the popularity of Forex you should have a lot of affiliates looking for Forex products to sell. Especially if forex is in your program name.
Shareasale has a few good forex competitors there with big commissions.
I think it would come down to the fee they charge per active affiliate (if that is the billing structure).

ShareASale is a top network in my view.I'M working with them from last 3 years. But still I believe that CJ and Link Share are better platforms for merchants.
