Post subject: ClickxChange out of Business?
I am an affiliate in the ClickxChange network and have been waiting to be paid commissions dating from as early as April of this year. ClickxChange will not answer their emails, and now the phone number posted on their website has been disconnected. Sounds like they are going out of business and skipping town. The merchant for which I earned the commissions with says they can not get through to ClickxChange either and are moving over to the Google affiliate network.
Being something of a newbie affiliate, this is very disheartening and putting a large dent in my trust of affiliate programs in general.
I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to how I should go about trying to get paid. Am I out of luck for the commissions owed me? or should I press the merchant to pay me directly.
Also, what is the best way to report ClickxChange for fraud? I am based in the U.S. and was thinking the FTC and Better Business Bureau would be the way to go. Any other suggestions?
