Post subject: Ethical side of affiliate programs?
|
|
|
Hi everyone.
I am a complete novice in affiliate area. Iam searching for clickbank products to represent something usefull, worthy and helpfull. But most of the time I can see pitch pages full of plain promises and lies, with fabricated refrences trying to sell rubish to desperate people.Like "one minute cure" thats the real top. Are you affiliates and super affiliates looking for products you trust and that can help or is it all only about the money?
Thanx for answers |

Hi Jarik, There are tens of thousands of companies that offer affiliate programs, and millions of products to choose from. ClickBank has very cheap setup fees, so it tends to attract rogues, but there are good programs there, too.
Try casting your net wider than ClickBank. Have a look at some of the large affiliate networks such as Commission Junction, LinkShare and Shareasale. You can also scan our affiliate directory. The link is at the top of the page.
You should be able to find products you're comfortable promoting. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Hi Agggen,
Almost every online shop is linked to some affiliate program, so, if you want ethical, why not choose the product you would like to sell first, and than find out how to join the program that sells it. _________________ may@RxCash.biz

Sometimes you have to follow your gut feeling. Going for a program where your interest is compatible with could not only be profitable, but enjoyable as well. _________________ Traffic Geyser |

Clickbank pays on time, but a lot of the products in there are just dodgy. So I understand what you mean. I try to only promote products that I have found to be useful to me and other people.
Have you checked Allan's Directory? His site has plenty of affiliate programs that are not related to Clickbank. _________________ Easy To Do Niche Affiliate Marketing |

Hi jarik,
As said by other you can join any affiliate programs but while joining affiliate programs you need to be sure about few things.
First of all you have to be clear whether you want to target a niche market or all products market. See your traffic on your site, what kind of people are coming to your site, what are they looking for, find out all these.
Once you get this decide whether you want to target niche or many products market and then find networks or inhouse affiliate programs catering to such market.
All the best for affiliate marketing. _________________ Affiliate Manager

Some Clickbank products are solid, but a lot a just a sales page offering what I personally cannot market.
I agree, there are so many affiliate products and services out there; the trick is to make sure they pay on time, if you like their products. _________________ Simon Macharia

Often, it helps to review the products if you have the money. If the product stinks, just ask for a refund. Also, you are going to find that 90% of the products OUTSIDE of making money online are very high quality products, with a few exceptions... _________________ Wealthy Affiliate Review

Now, there are usually as many sides to the stories as there are players. In the case of this session, though, there were only five sides to the story, so the picture they drew is somewhat incomplete. However, most of the panelist pretty much agreed that affiliate marketing gets unethical whenever:
1. a network is an affiliate of their own program,
2. a network share info on its affiliates with one of their preferred/super-affiliates,
3. or an affiliate or network offers a toolbar that overwrites cookies. _________________ Click here for FREE FOREX COURSES or here to follow their LIVE FOREX TRADING for free |

Hey Jardik, as the other person said the problem with clickbank products is that they are digital which means pretty easy to setup, anyone can make it.
I belive you should think long term , you may be able to get customer to buy you product one time but you know the product is crap and wil not help your customer its gonna b loss anyway, loss in reputation & trust.
You better off saying truth but dont have to reveal everything as well, you want them to go the website as well _________________ ClickBank Has a New Competitor! - Upto 95% comission(Read Here) |
