Post subject: What's the Maximum number of Pages a 'mini site'shud contain

When creating a Mini site for SEO (link building) purposes
-with good content on each page,
-keyword orientated content per page,
-links pointing to this site, etc
What would you think the maximum amount of pages these sites shoulds be for this site?
(considering the more pages= more link juice being shared, = less share of juice distribution per page, so i dont want too many)
16 pages maximum? 20? 25? 32? |

There is no correct answer to this question. Build what you think will work and test it.
Why would you put anything but good content on any page?
"link juice" is irrelevant as the real traffic comes from external sources.

There is no minimum. The whole idea behind a mini site is for it not to be a mega site.
One thing is for sure though. If you build a 10 page mini site with 1 "money page" (preferably your home page) and you get all ten your pages indexed and you build backlinks to all 10 pages you WILL see results.
Off course it depends on the keywords you target, but for mini sites you will only go after longtail keywords.
I suggest you pick the best keyword phrase for your
"money page" (high search volume and low competition) - for the other 10 pages, pick 10 related keywords and make sure each page links back to your homepage and to every other page.
You need to get backlinks to your site after this. Here's an easy strategy you can use:
Write 10 article, 1 a day for the next 10 days.
Publish each article on these 5 directories:
1. Ezinearticles
2. Goarticles
3. Ideamarketers
4. Selfgrowth (make sure your topic matches)
5. Amazines.com
In each article, use 2 anchor texts in your bio. 1 To go to your "money page" and 1 to go to each of your articles. MAKE SURE that you use the anchor text that takes matches that specific article your linking to.
Also, you should at least bookmark each one of your 10 pages using Onlywire. This will get you off to a good start. Don't expect instant results. Backlinks take some time to get picked up and for you to get ranked, but this works VERY well for 10 page sites.
When you mini site starts making good money, THEN add 10 more pages.

Can i also start with 22 pages from now (as i have 22 i wanted to use) instead of 10 now, and 10 later.
Or are there any disadvantages of that? or not really?
+ In your Link building pdf, what if we did that method in 3 weeks, instead of spreading it in 7 weeks? |

This is really interesting and open to some debate. I can see how one side feels this way and yet others feel another. Personally, it's very hard to say. I think I'm not going to take a stand on this yet. Curious to see what others feel.
