Hi everyone, my name is Dorian and I am new to this forum. I have a couple questions about joint venturing. I am currently promoting some affiliate programs, 2nd tier products at the moment.

1. When a JV sends a promotional email to their list for their product how do you have the link in the email go to a landing pg and have the JV partner get a commission?

For ex. if they communicate to their list and link to my landing pg, how would they get a commission if the visitors purchased on my autoresponder list? I would have to put their 2nd tier link in the emails wouldn't I?

2. Would I give a separate 2nd tier link to each JV partner? I think this is an obvious and stupid question but I just want to clarify.

3. Where is a good site to find 2nd tier products? It seems like a dime and a dozen on clickbank.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Good question dear.

Lets take example M as merchant, A1 1st tier affiliate to M.

Now A1 refers A2 an affiliate to M. So M checks website of A2 find out about him and finally if everything is good approve him, here A1 gets referral commission.

Now A2 is also an affiliate to M and A2 similar to A1 keeps the link provided by M, he does not put the link of A1 remember this.

Ok, so whenever visitor comes to A2 site he will click on M link and buy a product of M, thus both A2 and A1 gets the commission. A2 get new sale commission and A1 get 2-tier bonus or commission depending upon the agreement.

Now how it is tracked. Usually when an affiliate (A1) refers any affiliate (A2), merchant M stores in its database that A1 has referred to A2, so whenever A2 makes a sale, M will get three things sale amount, affiliate id, and referral id (the one who referred A2).

That's it. Its so very simple.

I hope you are get the idea.

If you are catering to pharmaceutical products or if in future are interested for that, please mail me at paul.henry@121doc.co.uk or contact me at paul121doc on skype.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

So would each JV get a separate affiliate link to promote? I would suppose so.

If I just give me the 2nd tier link to promote then yes it is simple, they get the commission and I get some also.

However, it becomes a little more difficult when I want to create a landing pg to capture leads, have an autoresponder series and allow the person I referred to get paid as well as myself.

That would be like creating dozens of different landing pgs and autoresponder accounts.

Please let me know how I can go about this.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I didn't quite get your question, but whatever i understood i am trying to help you out. You can further clarify your doubt if it is not clear.

For any merchant even 2nd tier affiliate is same as 1st tier affiliate.

Only thing what happens is, when you refer any affiliate, he will sign up merchant's affiliate program by giving referral id (that is your id). So you will be giving him your affiliate id to let merchant know that who has referred it. So it will be stored in the db of merchant as following detail the affiliate id, referral id (that is yours), etc.

Than that affiliate will work normally as you are working, only thing is that you will also be paid when that affiliate will contribute in making sale.

If still you have a doubt in this you can reply over here or even mail me personally at paul.henry@121doc.co.uk. You can even contact me on skype at paul121doc.

Thanks
