Post subject: Drop shipping - is it worth it ???
|

|
I am looking for various ways to monetize a website and also possibly open an eBay store.
I have tried affiliate programs and Google ad sense as well as Clickbank - but none of them have worked except Google ad sense (limited ).
I have been looking at drop shipping for a number of years now and because my traffic is only 100 and a bit per day I was thinking about using drop shipping in something like an eBay store which I have been told gets a fair amount of traffic and exposure .
What I would like to know is in your opinion would the combination of drop shipping and an eBay store work for me ?.
Please give me all the information on these topics that you can't think of, anything will help me to make up my mind what I am going to do. _________________ http://www.victoria-bc-canada-guide.com

what programs have you tried? Have you tried to do a specific affiliate program for each link you have?
for example you have printers. where you would link best buy affiliate program. printer ink clickinks.com, desktops dell.com, etc etc.
if you start doing the dropshipping you would have to handle the returns and the customer service and the phonecalls and the dozen other things a full merchant has to worry about.
Ebay stores I really do not have experience in. so I'll end it at that...
Good luck on what ever you choose. _________________ Bradley Senkovich

I just want to say I have had tried drop shipping too - with no success. The markets are saturated and it is very difficult to compete on ebay with established merchants. _________________ Click here for FREE FOREX COURSES or here to follow their LIVE FOREX TRADING for free |

I don't know Canada handles dropshipping, but in the US, you have to have a merchant's license before wholesale distributers will decide to even sell their stuff to you. i.e. a registered LLC at least.
Remember, that in dropshipping the site will ship your products out for you so you don't have to, but you have to handle the customer complaints and all customer service issues. So it's a lot of stuff to keep track of.
For this reason alone, I thought...eh...no.
Since Adsense seemed to be working for you in limited capacity, you just need more traffic. Try advertising your site in Traffic and Text Ad exchanges.
Text Ad Exchanges like Ad Exchange Pro tend to have more credits you can use for free. I encourage you to use a separate gmail when signing up for those exchanges but you may get a lot of solo ads. Those solo ads have credits in them, so don't delete them. _________________ Easy To Do Niche Affiliate Marketing |
