I suggest reading a bit on internet markeing in general. you can drive traffic to your website, from online marketing or offline. You can write article, post on different forums, put out drop cards offline, ezine ads, creating a blog, classified ads, or even press release.

I have found that if you read through some of the posts you will find yourself off on rabbit trails. Those rabbit trails will get you some good ideas. So think of something you want to know and do a search. Read through some of the posts that sound interesting and then let the rabbit trails take you away. You'll end up on many different sites and my find something you never thought about. But pace yourself because you'll end up reading all afternoon or evening and time will get away from you.

As you read and find information you think will be useful, then bookmark the page you found it on or make a note in a notebook or a computer file. You never know what you might find.

I would say that your first objective is to find a niche.

Find something that you are passionate about. Something that you can write about, research, and not get bored with.

Once you find several niches, do some research to find out if any of them will be profitable.

After you find a profitable niche, you can start to learn what to do with it and how to promote it. A lot of your learning can be done right here in this forum.

There's lots of ways to make money with affiliate marketing, websites, article marketing, list building, PPC, etc.

Get a general understanding of each and then pick one that fits your personality and go for it!
