I tried an email advertising before and the results were abbismal. I got no return on investment. Then again it all depends on the email you want to advertise in.

You have to think about how targeted the audience are. If for example you sell golf balls you would want to advertise in an email that has golfers as its subscribers.

Don't waste money on anything that's not targeted to the right audience just because they say they have over a million subscribers.

Make it targeted and that way you will get more clicks to your site.
