I am really surprise to see that new Website is not getting listed nowdays even 60 days later.. but one of my clien's site [URL deleted - Moderator] well listed at google and yahoo..
It really surprise issue for me..
any comments welcome..

Did you include it manually to those search engines?
Check out if google/yahoo bot visit your website in stats. Usually your website have to be added within a few weeks.
Register and verify your website at the Google Webmaster tools - it probably will give your some info and answers.

It might not just be an offpage seo issue (backlinks). It could also be an onpage issue where the pages don't have unique Meta data: titles/descrip/tags. The more unique pages you have the better chance you have of being indexed and obtaining more rank. If your Onpage SEO is setup properly then the only thing left is offpage seo - start some link building with directories, social bookmarking, articles, etc.

I think it is a good idea to make a robots.txt file in the root of your website. In this file, there should be a line with a link to the url of your sitemap.xml file, like this:
| Code: | | Sitemap: http://yourdomain/sitemap.xml |
In your sitemap, you mention all pages you want to get indexed by search engines. You can take a look at

If you want a fast trick to get your site indexed, just sign up for a PPC account like AdWords. They have to index you to give you a quality score and then you are all set. Spend $10 and you'll get indexed and a few clicks as well.

What's the fuss?
It's very easy to get indexed. Digg or Mixx or Propeller will get you indexed in 24 hours.
Getting a PR will probably take much longer. There's a big difference between being indexed and having a page rank. The only way to get PR is to build links.
simple as that.
