Hello everyone!

My site is a year old and as an affiliate I'm not doing well.

I have two preselling pages and I think I'm trying too hard not to sell. What's your take on that?

Now, the preselling pages each have an adsense unit (large rectangle) in the upper right corner. I'm considering to have them replaced with photos that support the preselling. How does that sound?

To have a look at one of the pages, please copy and paste the url in your browser. (I'm not sure if it's allowed to put links in posts)

axelg.com/discover-guided-meditation.html

Any suggestions would be most appreciated Wink

Yes, you're allowed to post a link when you're asking for site review.

Yes, a photo might help. You could also try rewriting the main page in the first person and explain how guided meditation helps you. Or have a prominent link on your main page that says something like, "How guided meditation makes my life free of stress", or something like that, linking to another article.

The very first thing I noticed is that you have a heading "Discover Guided Meditation" which is underlined but is NOT an affiliate link.

This immediately strikes a jarring note because your visitor expects any words that are underlined to be a link.

Picture your visitor arriving at your page, seeing what looks like a prominent link, "Discover Guided Meditation". Your visitor thinks, "That's what I want," and tries to click the link. Nothing happens. It isn't a link. Big mistake.

I wonder if your domain name "axelg" is another jarring note. It seems odd to me, and an unlikely name for a site on meditation. It doesn't look like the name of a credible, trustworthy site. I could be wrong. I'd be interested in knowing what other people think about that.

If your name is Axel, I suggest you add "Axel G." to the end of the article on the main page. Or if it's Axel Grant or something like that, why not put that name at the end of your main page? It might make the page look more credible.
