Ok this is a red letter day for me I have earned my first online dollar(Actually I'm up to like $3) . I was always told the 1st dollar was the hardest so Goal #1 accomplished!
Which brings me to my question I started in march. All march nothing so I'm still writing blogs. Started slow with 1 a day. Then in april I noticed that I made 27 cents. Suddenly in may it jumped to $3.
I checked the details tab on my earnings page but all it says is "for adsense content". What i wanna know is what (if anything) did I do to cause that lil spike and how can I multiply that result.
Also is there a way to see which blog entry (Hubpages) generated that $3
I'm so excited right now I could bust! _________________ http://hubpages.com/profile/sevon77 |

Congrats, your first dollar is always the hardest.
I agree it could be your just getting more traffic.
Do you have a plan in place.
Your blog is your landing page or money site.
You should be tracking all of these links. That way you define exactly what caused your spike. This will come in handy as you expand your marketing and properties.
Thnx

Congratulations on your success.
As you continue adding to your blog and as you get comments and back links your popularity will increase.
Thus your traffic will increase.
Just keep on writing your posts and promoting your site and you should see it grow even more. Then you can find more ways to monetize it.
Good job and good luck,

I'm agree but I'm having trouble setting up the Google analytics because it won't allow me to use my hubpages blog as my URL.(I've since started new blogs at Blogger.com & Wordpress)Blogger & Hubpages both have adsense but not wordpress maybe I did something wrong(of course I haven't posted anything on wordpress yet so I'll hold off on that one) _________________ http://hubpages.com/profile/sevon77 |
