Hello everyone!

I've got an amortizing loan calculator website and I hope that I can learn something here. I'm trying to monetize it somehow.

The first word that came to my mind was not Amortization. It was "loan Calculator".

So I went to Google and Typed in Loan Calculator and Bankrate (A major player came up first).

Turns out they are using an Ad and Adsense just like almost all other loan sites.

Sometimes you can't reinvent the wheel. There are already so many of these types of sites out there.

So look at what they are doing and see how you can incorporate it into your offer.

Thank You for Your reply!

AdSense came to my mind first, but I thought it wouldn't bring much since it is a new site. I was hoping to find a better solution. Smile

Keep in mind the people visiting a page to do a specific task like calculating a mortgage cost came to your page for that purpose. If they came by accident they probably just left.

So what can you offer them once they complete that task? What is the natural lead in to a person that now knows the cost of the mortgage?

Maybe digital products like how not to be overcharged on your mortgage fees, or loan programs where they can shop for a better deal, or ?

So I can see affiliate opportunities. However it appears to be a pretty saturated market. But if you can pull the traffic I see no reason why you can not make money from the project.

And in loans/mortgages Adsense does pay well. But keep yourself to one block of ads so you don't clutter the page or display the lower paying ads.

I'd do what Bankrate is doing. I'd have my best affiliate offer along with a block of adsense.
