The best way to make money online is through an affiliate marketing program. It is easy to start, easy to understand, and easy to have success. To really do well, though, you should find the affiliate marketing program that is at the top of the business. The more successful they are, the more successful you the affiliate are. So how do you fin d the best programs? There are three features to look for.
First, a great affiliate marketing program will be simple to copy. All of the best programs are not just easy to implement and get results, but they should also be easy to copy. The best way to increase your stream of revenue is to be able to duplicate your success from just your one website to other blogs and sites.
A second characteristic of a great affiliate marketing program is that it has tasks that require repeating daily. When a good program requires tasks to be repeated daily that compounds the traffic, search ability, and perhaps even the purchases made through it. Though you only get paid for purchases, drawing more searches and traffic increases your odds and keeps you from having to make a sale with every referral.
Thirdly, a good affiliate marketing program will be simple. Most great affiliate marketing programs are not even noticed by you as you search the net. However, when you make a purchase on something, someone is likely getting a commission. Why is that? These affiliate programs are set up to be simple and seamless so that you are fooled and never realize you have gone through an affiliate. That is exactly what you want so that traffic flows seamlessly through your site and right to the final purchases for which you get paid.
It is not difficult to make money with an affiliate marketing program. You just need to know what to look for. Then, you simply associate yourself with the programs that has the features that will best help you to make money. It’s much more easier to join a good affiliate program than it is to start your own.

| In my opinion, it's always better to work with a merchant directly as part of their affiliate program, as opposed to a network, even a good one like Shareasale or Clickbank. The reason is that you'll make more in commissions. The danger is that these merchants are shady when it comes to paying on time, tracking, etc. But if you find a good one, you could be in for some good times. If you're interested in joining one of the best, let me know. |

I like some affiliate networks because they give you many tools, feeds etc. which makes it easy to promote the products. the down side I guess is there are a lot of other affiliates, but everyone does things differently.

These are good tips and I agree with them. I have researched the different types of affiliate networks that are out there. The best ones that I would suggest are;
Commission Junction.
By far CJ is the largest affiliate network, and they offer mostly physical products and services, there are many merchants to choose from with high reputations.
Clickbank.
One of the best networks for digital products, they pay high commission, and there is the potential to make some good money with clickbank.
Linkshare.
Not as large as Cj, or clickbank but there are some good merchants to choose from.
Overall finding good affiliate networks will give you the potential to find some good products to promote.
