Hi;

I have a number of sites that have Adsense on them. I have noticed over this past week or so, a very high percentage of Domain Registration ads on my sites. These are sites that vary widely in content, but NONE of them have anything to do with Domain Registration. So the ads are virtually useless.

The thing that drives me nuts is that I have alternative ads for all of my sites that point to my own sales pages, so if Google doesn't have an suitable ad, I would rather they run my alternative ads instead of these domain registration ads.

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Hi. just wanted to post a follow up.

I think Google must have some sort of a "block" if your ip accesses a page too often. I tried viewing my page from another computer and it was showing relative ads, yet my own computer still showed the domain registration ads.

I had been working on my site quite a bit and therefore was viewing my home page every few minutes.

Interesting.

You know, I was wondering about this too. How are we supposed to know if everything is right on the pages unless we review them. On my site, I can't afford to wait until someone else tells me that a link doesn't work, etc., and they certainly aren't going to notify me if the ads aren't relevant or if PSA's are running on a page. I hope we're not being penalized by reviewing our own sites.

I wouldn't say penalized. But I would ask friends and family to check what's showing too. (Just ask them not to click the Adsense ads).

As far as checking your own links, of course, and how it looks. No SE would ever penalize for that Smile
