| This is very exciting... Something I think I can actually do, but I have a question : I don't understand the whole content network thing. All of my studies have focused on search engine marketing is that different? I noticed that you don't worry about keywords in this method (you lost me with that one. |

wow, i havent even started advertising yet through google and my site has had 6000 hits in less than 48hrs all because i chose a good name for my site.
I have placed a poll on the home page to try and convert these unexpected hits. |

Content Network ads are theme-triggered, not keyword triggered.
Theme triggered or theme driven simply means Google looks at the keywords in your adgroup in order to figure out where to place your ad.
Google look at all the keywords at a whole "theme".
Say you've 5 keywords in an adgroup
obama, president, white house, george bush, clinton
most likely your ad will appear in politics blogs.

You know I've learned more in the last 3 days than I have in the last 3 months of studying on my own.
I get it now thank you so much. I think I can come up with some pretty unique poll ideas I'm gonna keep working on it. |

I forgot to ask one other thing.
What % of your google ad impressions are converted to clicks? Just as a rough guide. For instance ive had approx 20,000 impressions and only a dozen clicks.

Not sure how to find the SGS package as mention in StevenL's CPA passport document - I emailed bigfish but not reply

I started to do that but just decided to apply to an affiliate program with a blank domain and they accepted me. They didnt even mention my site. |
