Ham,
I suggest you look over the forum extensively ... you will find lots of posts regarding type of affiliate programs, targeting your site with passion and content and a myriad of other things that will help you along the way.
Once you have an idea of what you want to do ... what kind of focus you want to have as well as the type of site you want to do ... mini micro or content ... then we can help you more

[Harvey, What you've provided here is only minimally useful. You've posted a blatant ad for your affiliate-driven site. We've been lenient with your posts because your site is a really useful one. However, if we allowed everyone to make flying visits and merely post a link to their site, this forum would quickly become useless. Please take the time to post helpful, useful info. You can still provide a link to your site when you do that. Also, posting useful info adds to your credibility and ought to increase click-throughs to your site. Thanks for your cooperation. Admin,
My one-line response above was probably the shortest I
have ever made in a forum.
The reason ?
The question asked was very general - it's not clear to
me from what angle it is made (whether as a merchant
or affiliate) - and the poster requires "tips and
advice" about ClickBank so it seems a sensible
immediate response to give a general answer, viz a site
about ClickBank. I can be more specific if further
questions are raised.
You will also note that I have NEVER posted a sig line
when I ASK a question - and I don't always post a sig
line when I answer.

Harvey,
It's my turn.
You should keep your sig file active for obvious reasons.
I nearly removed your post at first. I advised a while ago in another section that "advice" should in the first instance be to explain, in your post, what needs to be done. A suggestion to visit the sig file address is then optional.
A solo URL in a new topc will always get moved; one used as a reply in an ongoing topic I hesitate to shift. I don't have time to review all URL's for possible motivation for their listing. I require "conversation", words of advice that indicate participation. Then I'll give reasonable consideration - BUT do leave the URL's, for the most part, in the sig file and refer to them in passing.
I do agree with the previous Admin reply - but if you stick to the reasonable protocols above, all will be well. Quite a few other subscribers I've spoken to are now following these steps and placing regular messages.

Ok, I've decided that I'll be doing a gaming site. I'll have game reviews, forums and a chance for users to purchase games etc. I've planned my site content and possible names for my site.
What do I do next? If I have to do some research on keywords, how do I go about this?
Thanks for any help _________________ Cheers

Do a search of the forum, as there's lots of threads covering this in detail.
Hope this helps,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
