Hi
How would you make money without having to have google ads in your site? I just wanted to know if we all have to depend on google.? |

No way possible. Google is the only answer. Without Google the earth would cease to exist. Google is God! Google is all knowing.

Let me help put things in perspective.
Google Grossed 16.6 billion last year. And they pretty much own Search.
The US Gov't just handed out that much to the Automakers and may never see it again.
Internet Search while it may seem large is a VERY VERY small industry.
The US Gov't is pumping 10 billion a month into the "war effort".
Here are some more fun numbers.
2006 - 97 billion spent on PORN!
2006 - 12.5% of all Internet Site were PORN related
Here are some fun Telcom Industry Numbers

So in the overall scheme of everyday life Google isn't really even much of a player. The simply own a large share of a relatively insignificant communication medium.
The real money is still pouring through the telecom industry.

Affiliate programs will definitely help in making money specially in e commerce products. Like amazon, ebay and stubhub.

If you think your site i really a good one, then thinking about selling it might just be another good decision on your part. Most people earn money this way.

I guess we have become so dependent on Adsense because most of our articles serve no real purpose but to attract traffic. In the "good oll" days you could hide some affiliate links in your content, use addsense and be OK.
Not so anymore as far as I can see, you really have to use your content to funnel people to your pre-sell or review page. Look at Addsense as a nice addition to your online incime
In fact every page every link needs to have a purpose. We used to think about it, talk about it and then got lost in the traffic and pr game. Changing the organization of my sites, quadrupled the income streams. Increased traffic and I got Addsense addiction kicked.

Dear surely we make money without google adsense help.Infact we make more money withou adsense than with adsense.I have five blog websites.I use adbrite in text ads on one blog and it give me 2$ per day.(250 visits daily).But when I have used adsense it gave not much.So you should try adbrite inline ads.

You can still make money without google ads on your site. There are lots of existing advertising alternatives to adsense like chitika, etc.
Affiliate programs are also great as well as CPA offers.
If you have an email capture installed on your site or an autoresponder, you can grab the visitor's email and market to them in the future.
