Post subject: My Wordpress blog just got hacked

Note: I'm talking for those who host their blog on their servers.
I've just learned the hard way that you need to upgrade your blog version.
You can do this from your fantastico panel.
I also learned that even though you upgrade your WP blogs, hackers can still wipe it...
Another thing, always have a backup.

Shawn,
The sooner, the better. I learn the hard way that these updates were actually security updates.
Now, I'll hire a webmaster to have a look in my wordpress blogs and sites to see if everything is going well.

It is a problem with wordpress that I have come across again and again.
The new version is said to be more secure

"more secure" just mean that it's better than the older version... But it's not 100% secure yet, so be careful.
Don't forget to backup.

You're right Franck I should have said more secure till the hackers find a back door
