What is the definition of Viral Marketing?
If you don't know what Viral marketing is (also referred to as "buzz marketing" or "stealth marketing") , then you might be wondering what the heck is it...and do I want to catch it?!!
But don't be alarmed because viral marketing, although HiGhLy contagious, is definitely not harmful. And it's definitely not some weird disease or crazy computer virus at all. In fact it actually has a very fun & exciting nature about it. And that's why it spreads so rapidly. Because just about everyone who comes in contact with it is anxious to spread the word about it.. Before you know it - it s~w~e~e~p~ through the Internet like wildfire~~becoming virtually UNStoppable!.....Hence: Viral Marketing.

when you do your viral marketing how did you start it off? Did you send an email to your friends? I do not have a list built yet and was wondering if there is a better way to viral marketing then using your own email list?
By the way I am very interested in working for someone for an email to be put out to their list on my behalf. If you or anyone you know would like to become partners in doing this please contact me. I just had an article published online about Viral Marketing.

Try making a blog with a article about the site and link to the viral marketing link. This way it gets listed in rss feeds and blog sites and starts getting traffic

To make your business viral, it is best to create a small report or ebook with affiliate or squeeze page link back to your website. Once it is done, distribute to ebook directories that accept free ebook.

I have post an article about viral marketing on the net that makes it simple. Make sure you always send them to your lead capture page so you get their phone numbers and emails. I like to get phone numbers to make my business people friendly. Have a great Day. |

That's one good way of doing it. But did you make it compulsory for your subscribers to live their phone number? I know it is a good thing but some people just don't prefer to talk on phone and if you make it compulsory, they will have a second thought on subscribing to whatever you're offering.

One of my favorite forms of viral marketing is writing articles. This is what I'm currently concentrating on most. Writing articles and submitting them to online directories like ezinearticles.com is a great way to set-up your content to go Viral~~~
P.S. speaking of content, if you write a blog or other and have an rss feed, there's a supercool widget that I've discovered that can really viralize your content. Full details on can be found on @ ViralMarketingMix blog...

For a new blog, I would strongly recommend that you:
1) Get rid of all the pop up ads
2) Get rid of all Adsense ads
3) Get rid of the Adsense link units
It will be hard for your blog to go viral with ads all over your pages.
I'm just saying...
