Attempts to artificially manipulate proximity and density will be ineffective. Write naturally and stay on theme.

How many keyword phrases do you need? Your goal should be a minimum and also how many searches per month makes a good keyword for pay per click search engine, you should have more than enough keyword phrases.

Hello Robert,

What quest says makes a lot of sense. Staying on theme is important.

I have personally found it to be more effective to create my pages around a theme by using multiple keywords. Creating pages of this type allows me to get traffic for not just one keyword but multiple keywords.

For example, let's say I do my keyword research and decide that I want to create a page on "dog training".

dog training
training dogs
dog obedience
Dog Training Obedience
House Training a Dog
Dog Toilet Training
Potty Training Dogs
Dog Training School
Dog Behavior
Dog Behavior Modification
How to Train a Dog
Dog Behavior Problems

All these keywords fit within a theme and when you weave them into an informative web page they will look much more natural than using only the phrase "dog training" every 50 words or so.

Hope this helps.

All The Best,

Tony

You need to have the right balance. Over using you key word in an article will be seen as spam. Make sure to have quality content and use your key word where it is the most effective.
Bring something new and different to your readers and optimize your articles.

Analysis of the keywords - Analyze the keyword before using it. Find out which keywords are used most, which keywords are used by your competitors. Use different keyword research tools to find out the right keyword
