Hello all, If you have the time, could you please consider reviewing my site: www.pctutorialsonline.net
Do you think the minimalist style blog is a good thing? I thought it was good because it put the main focus on the content.
I'm also thinking about adding a forum for people to submit their PC troubles and just general chat and things. Good idea or Bad idea? Traffic to my site is nothing outstanding, maybe 30 pageviews a day average. I'll have to figure out more ways to drive traffic, currently using article submission.
Anyway, tell me what you think of it.

I'd shy away from the forum. Put up something where your visitors can submit a question to you. Then, you answer the question as content on your blog.
The minimalist style looks OK. You might want to do a header graphic. And when I visited, I had an ad to chat with some chic. Doesn't seem very targeted to your website. My first thoughts was "woah, I hit something adult based".

That submit a question sounds like a great idea. I wonder if there is a plugin for such a thing. Otherwise, I'm going to have to learn PHP real quick!
Yes a graphic header would be good. I probably should make a logo as well. I'm not sure where that ad with a chick came from. I had disabled adult ads in Adbrite when i started up with them, something must of slipped through the filter. Care to recommend any other ad networks? Thanks for the input.

I don't think it was really an adult ad. But that's the impression it gave me.
There are lots of form submission scripts you can use. Research them and find one that seems secure. Unless you are using a particular blog engine? You might be able to find something that just plugs in.

Looks like any other made for adsense blog. Nothing to set it apart.

Yes i probably should get a more customized/unique theme, guess I was eager to start. At the time, I was applying the 80/20 rule  .
Header has now been updated. I recently tried ten contact form plugins and couldn't get a single one to work. I think it has something to do with the php backend. If you know of a contact form that dosen't rely on php, please let me know.

You may want to check out how Yaro uses lead generation and try and model your subscribe box in a similar fashion.
Yaro makes a comfortable living from his site and has built a substantial list.

Thanks for the Tip Toni, I'll see to it hopefully by the end of the month. I've also added a navigation bar on the header, might helps users a little bit. Yaro obviously know's how market a blog really well.

For your search for Online visitors' suggestions go to skribit.com and download the code its free and a nice little widget to get the visitors to give suggestions on what topics to be written.
