hi
recently i made a blog. i'm getting enough traffic from social bookmarking websites but i want to get traffic from google and yahoo as well.
can any body please guide me through that?

It's all about gaining quality incoming links. There is no one step-by-step foolproof method to do this. Much of this is beyond your control. A very high quality unique, professional, good looking site with easy to use navigation will help. This is why I like Wordpress and professionally designed templates so much. Take full advantage of the free SEO plugins for wordpress.
Get a software tool to manage your efforts. We currently use SEOElite, but you may want to look at Link Machine, Web CEO and a few others.

That's great that you are getting traffic through your social bookmarkeing efforts.
You may want to give article marketing a try in order to generate traffic. This can be, but is not typically an instant-gratification method but a steadier and longer-term traffic generation technique.
Done effectively it can help your pages to rank well for your chosen keywords and that will lead to an increase in traffic.
In my experience the bulk of the traffic that article marketing produces is organic search engine traffic although you will also receive some traffic directly from the links in your submitted articles.

to increase your traffic make sure you link your pages to other similar pages. By recommending other, they will in turn recommend you. Use backlinks.

Hi,
I brought a new thing that do search engine submission and Directory submisssion with targeted keyword as Title then by doing the quality work your site will comes with in 10 positions in first page of Google with your targeted keyword then automatically you can get the trafficfrom SE's.

Build quality backlinks. Make sure your articles are keyword targeted and that you provide regular fresh relevant content. The All in one SEO pack is very useful if you're using WordPress.

Along with all the other suggestions which are wonderful (and necessary) to building site success, don't forget about off-line approaches too.
Everything from business cards, brochures, mailings and local/national PR are all extremely helpful as well.
Then of course, content, content, then more quality content all keyword focused and optimized!
