I understand it's now possible to have more than one account for Adsense, presumably as people have kicked up a fuss over the inability to track.
Can anyone confirm?
Cheers,

Unless you have been given special permission, the stated rules prevail, so take Debs advice.

You can place the same code on the 2nd site, so long as the 2nd site also meets the Terms of Use and FAQ of Adsense.

I have three separate accounts with Google's AdSense, all in my own name and have had for several months. They're quite different sites and require separate tracking.
I asked for and received Google's permission.
Good luck!
Let's hope they bring in separate trackjing soon.

doh, read the rules so you know for sure which sites you can put the AdSense code on. If your "affiliate shop" is just a lot of affiliate links, it does not comply with the AdSense program because the rules state that the AdSense code cannot be placed on pages that are for the purpose of advertising.

I'll second that. And by page, not just domain.

Is the tracking (by page) something that's been mentioned or just something we're hoping for at this point? It seems that it would benefit everyone, right?

Tracking by domain in the same account was promised by Google, I believe the tracking by page is a wish we are hoping will be granted

I'm so glad this was brought up. So just to clarify, if you have two or three sites, you currently dump them all into the same adsense account unless you get special permission otherwise, right? That's what I'm doing but it makes me nervous. _________________ - blake
