Hello, I hope all is well with everyone!
I just have been using Myspace and Facebook lately to make friends with people who are interested in home-based businesss, etc. I just add them and then later after we have become friends and such then I'll tell them about how I make money online if they want to know.
Is anyone else doing this? Does anyone else use this technique?

I never really got the myspace thing always thought it was really a site for the kiddywinks but facebook seems to be a bit more credible although i have not used it for any marketing purposes yet i know some website owners have an individual facebook for each of their sites.

Personally I hate MySpace. They block affiliate links even in forums where they say it's allowed. I use several other social networking sites that work better for me. My recommendations below should feature one or two. If not feel free to PM me because I know you'll get tired of MySpace sooner or later

Ya, I agree. But myspace is a good source to use right now.
Have you been successful getting leads off of these social networking sites that you are involved with?

I thought that most social sites like this were against you using them for personal gain type services. I have the places I work with in my area but its not blatant ads or anything like that.

Yes because I can post mini blogs and comments about what works for me. I've gotten several leads ~ it's all in how you do it. Most don't like blatant ads but they're more flexible than Myspace. Yuwie & MyLot are two of my favorites that you can find in my "Get Paid to Chat Online " feature.
P.S. In case you didn't know, MySpace is now even blocking links that you send as PMs to your friends that contain links in them; they put spaces in them so that your links won't work! That's pretty sad to me.

I've found Myspace can generate some traffic, but no conversions. I guess the extra exposure can't hurt, but don't expect any sales.
