I am looking for a few good affiliateprograms which can sell my book.
A few internet-guru's looked at it .. and told me the product is great.
It is a marketing-checklist-manager with over 800 pages of marketing-checklists. But I am from Europe .. and don't know anything about US aff-systems.
- What affiliatesystems would fit?
- The price is USD 149,-, what is a reasonable commission?
- Must I be warned for certain issues?
- I have my own affiliate-software-system . it is cheaper to do it
myself .. but I how do I get the affililates?
Thanks! Richard/Switserland/Europe |

Is your book an e-product? If so, I would suggest between 25% and 50% for a commission.
You could sign up with ClickBank and sell it through them... I am not sure on anything else though... I am new to that aspect... _________________ Eric D. Burdo

The best way is to get those guru's to market it for you ... offer them the higher end of the commission scale to be an affiliate of the product ... make sure you have a great sales page for conversions first though.
If you give the guru's 50% (if digital), and standard affiliates 40%, you should be doing well. They need to help you get the word out for it to get on the road to success quickly.
Also, talk to the guru's about setting up the affiliate program as well, what they want in order to promote to their lists, what they think of the price, and saleability of the product at the price you have set. IF they are comfortable, then it should do better overall than if they weren't comfortable with something.

It's a similar idea to creating a product for an existing market.
It's much easier to help people buy what they already think they want, than trying to sell them something they aren't sure about.
Let's face it, you are going to have to sell your affiliate program - and the competition is steep.
By the way, Richard, have you considered packaging the product differently for different markets - companies, work at home etc.?
Cheers,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
