Hi, I own a Craft and Gift shop and trying to start promoting it online as well as being set up with an Herbal Lab and have products to sell for them now, but need a good way of promoting them. What is the best way to set up an affiliate program? Is there a section or specific web site someone recommends? My site right now is located with the first product (weight loss) at http://totalherbsonline.org/thin1 and would appreciate any info to help me along the right track.
Thanks for any input and if I am posting this in the wrong forum for help, I am sorry.

p.s. is 35% commission a fair price for sales? |

35% on a physical product is a very good commission. On a digital product, it is about the norm.
If that is on a physical good... are you sure you can make a profit from that? Many physical goods commissions are only around 5 to 15%... _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Yes, I am absolutely sure I can so the 35% commission. Would rather do 25% but yes, I can do 35%. Thing is, my manufacturer has tons of it available and in 90 days you can't sell ephedra products anymore. He sold over 60 cases yesterday, people are stocking up on it apparently. There is also an ephedra free version on the site.
So, do you have any recommendations to help me get started in this?
thanks,
greg |

For the short time period you have, to get traffic now, I would suggest you use PPC advertising.
There are several threads on here regarding ROI on PPC (return on investment on pay per click) advertising that may help you.

Debs, thanks for the info. I will check into that as well. The short period of time is just for the ephadrine products. I plan on keeping on doing this and making my living with the ephadine free products as well as other herbal products so just about anyway will do.
I am also working on my Marine Coral Calcium site that I will need to promote, I have 2500 bottles stocked up on that and need to move it as well so there will be good profits in that. I will keep checking out the site here for more valuable information.
Thanks again,
Greg |
