Hi,
I have just started an online business and I want to promote by business on popular sites on the net but I don’t have any idea how it should be done. Do you guys have any idea that can help me out? |

You could read Allan's free report on "77 Ways To Get Traffic nearly all Free" and then after you get those going concentrate on doing more of the ones you like the best. You will find it for free on the right hand side bar of this page.

Yeah! It’s very good thought to promote your business through popular sites. You can give banner ads to the popular sites that allow for it. Search Google for top sites in your niche, then check their Alexa Ranking.
If it's under 100,000 you have a great site to cooperate with. You need to enter the site, search for the contact form / details and send them a request to advertise on their site if they allow this.
Get ready for a lot of rejections however, if you do have a good niche / product / proposal and you are ready to invest in advertising with these big dogs, that's how you do it and for every 10-20 rejections you'll have 1 success, so there's work to be done but if you are persistent you'll succeed.
Of course you need to prepare some banners at different sizes and search deeper in the site to find out which page is the best page for your ad.

I wouldn't promote my business outright. Think of how many people are bombarding you about joining their business even though you already have one. Since you already have your own business you're not looking for another business, you're looking for a good way to market it.
I would get involved in a system that allows you to give away free information that teaches people how to effectively market their business on the internet since that is what most people struggle to do.
Once they are equipped with a strong system that is simple, duplicatable, and offers multiple income streams and your primary business in a package then they will be more likely to join into your program because they have the confidence that they are able to market effectively with results.
This is what is working for me.
