Does anyone have any experience with the auto-responder GetResonse Pro?
If so, do you think it's a useful tool?
A $145/year subscription does not appear to be a very good investment when there are so many mailing list scripts out there for much smaller flat fees.

As far as fees go, $145 a year (about $12 a month) is much cheaper than a lot of the highly recommended services like aweber which run around $19 or so a month.
If they offer the same services, and quality, they would be worth considering. I don't use them, or others, but do keep in mind you get what you pay for in most cases.

You have to factor in the point about spam allegations. If you use a third party service like GetResponse or Aweber you have more protection (and less work) for a price.
Considering the new (somewhat draconian) anti-spam laws that are being brought in, the goalposts are changing, and $145 might turn out to be a fee very much worth paying.
