Does anyone have any experience with WebCreator Premium, used by SiteLogic? I'm trying to learn how to get an affiliate code into my page.

It's been 10+ years since I did HTML, and even then I just had the basics. SiteLogic had such a good reputation, and the templates were a good match to my subject, so I couldn't resist. I'm pleased except I can't get the affiliate code in the template. They do have tutorials that make a lot of sense. The only problem is, the screen shot doesn't remotely match what my screens look like, and it doesn't have the same options to choose. If they did, it would be an easy fix.

Thanks!
Ursula

Maybe you can contact Startlogic directly for help.

Yep, that's what I've done (several times.) The tech emailed that I didn't have any affiliate code in there, which was of course what I was telling him.

I can see it in the editor when I put it in, and it even shows online until I make even the slightest change. For example, I changed one typo on another page, but the affiliate link disappeared on the next page when I published the edit. So far SiteLogic hasn't been much help online, or on the phone.

Try useng a short redirect url. Maybe it is taking the affiliate code off the end of url when you update.

I've got a free ebook I can give you on web design that might be a little help to you if you want to start over from scratch - I'd post it here but its probably against the rules, but if you send me a PM I can send you the download link.
