Its simple , lets you have 2 sites/blogs and you ask some one for link exchange then ht/she links your site A and you put his/her site link in your site/blog B so you can get only one way link , which is effect way to increase PR .

I no longer concentrate on link exchanges. The search engines have become very smart and 'know' when you are trying to manipulate them.
I've also found it very time consuming, if not impossible to monitor all those links. Not everyone is honest in this business and when you look for a link to your site it's gone.
I prefer to submit articles to article sites like ezinearticles.com and just keep filling my sites with good content.
As long as you're providing value, people will slowly link to you because they want to. The search engines 'notice' genuine links.
I understand that when you are just starting out you want to speed things up and will try anything, but it can backfire in the long run.
By the way, 3 way link exchanges are not entirely new. Seems to have been around for over a year or maybe two years now if I recall correctly.

It seems an exciting program to join in and hey! Seriously who else won't like to sit down and within 3 months you have 250 one way links pointing to your site using 3 of your keyword phrase?
BUT slow down and think twice. I am a little bit old school and anything that seems to be easy and too good to be true, just naturally - triggers alarm warnings all over my body.
The best thing to do and that is why I love the online world today is to rush to your favorite search engine.
Here is the reasoning - If you have heard about it, then someone else somewhere knows about it too.
So type the name of the product or service and then include reviews with quotes or without the quotes - depends.
In our case type in {3 way link networks reviews} into the search form and hit enter. Work from there.
