hi,i am richard.i am new to affiliate marketing.i am seeing all over the internet that it is very easy to earn $100,$500, and even $1000 in a single day.is it really possible to earn that much amount in a single day?

Yes it is possible to earn the amount you have mentioned in affiliate marketing. But you have to become a marketer like Allan and it may take you some years.

Hi Richard, Two hugely important factors in generating revenue as an affiliate are...
(1) Your ability to communicate clearly.
(2) Your ability to create a favorable impression on your visitors/readers. You have to win their trust.
To earn significant revenue, you'll need to work hard at developing these skills.

Yep, anything is possible if you just set your mind to it and go for it.
Just realise there is no magic pill and instead focus on learning and continually putting things into action along the way.
And ask questions when you get stuck

You can earn $ 100 a day but it depends on
a)what you want to promote
b)where you want to promote and
c)How you want to promote,
If you have answers to these then you can start earning. Just look at some attractive female profiles on myspace the famous social site. They will have attractive girl fotos. These are all fake profiles created by some affiliate marketer. Look at the about me section you will find a banner or some textlink and that is their affiliation program. This way you can earn without website also but you need to have lot of communication talents that suits to the specific target as Allan told in this thread.

I don't know if I would call it "easy", but yes, it is possible. I had my first $100 day back in Janaury, and it didn't take me long to get my second $100 day shortly after that, although I haven't been able to earn $100 a day consistently yet, but I hope that day will come soon.

The easiest way to get $100 per day is to sell something that will give you that amount in one sale.
For example, selling a $197 product which pays you 50% commission. 50% is equal to $98.50 (which is almost $100).
But you have to make sure the sales letter is converting well and the product itself must be a high quality product.
Since it is an expensive product, you have no choice but to have an opt-in form so you can continue to follow up with your customers until they finally decided to purchase it.
And of course, you still need to promote your site. Without promotion, you are not going to make any sales whatsoever.

Yes you can make that much money. It takes a lot of hard work and trial and error. If you find some good affiliate programs that pay well and work hard to get your sites ranked well the sky is the limit.

If you know how to do the folowing proberly, then definitely you can
1 Find your niche: your market with hungry potential buyers
2 Build your website: get your stuff announced to the world
3 Get your website listed in search engines: get people to stumble on your website
4 Build traffic to your website: Increase the number of your visitors
5 How to increase your conversion rate? visitors are not enough, they should buy as well otherwise you do not make money
The first three steps is a must for any successful online business. Combination of some of the tactics for building traffic ( fourth step) is required for gaining real money. Traffic is Money. You might have noticed that I did not name any product or niche in these steps. these steps are quite general and form the basis of starting any sort of online money-making business. Each of these steps need a detailed "how to do it" guide.
