| I am very new to this so please forgive me I ask no brainer questions. I am just trying to make sure I fully understand what I am doing. I have been running a campaign thru clickbank. I don't have my own website I just have my ads linked directly to the merchant website. What is the best way to do this right? |

If you're making a profit, you're doing things right.
However, what you're doing is earning an income, not building a business. If you get a memorable domain name, build your own website, build your own reputation and collect email addresses so you can achieve repeat sales, you'd be building a valuable asset useful for generating long-term revenue, an asset you could perhaps sell one day, or hand on to a son or daughter, or younger partner.
You could build either a large content site, or simply a one or two page site designed to collect email addresses, or a cluster of niche sites which were somehow related and all reinforced and promoted each other.
What you use your email list for could be either a newsletter or a pre-written series of articles distributed via autoresponder.
It's your life, your business. You make the rules. I reckon the "best" way to go in affiliate marketing is to design a business that suits your skills, interests and personality. _________________ Allan Gardyne

When I first started I was also struggling to build a website. It takes time to understand the html code, to post, to adjust, insert banner, etc
In the beginning I made many mistakes. At this moment I would consider myself as a intermediate rather than a begineer. It is hard at first, remember to ask when you have doubts or questions.
The whole journey takes me more than 1 year to understand and build a simple website. If I can do it so can you. Good luck _________________ Film Asia: The Latest Asian Movies Synopsis |

Is that a problem?
The way I see it, you're probably going to live for many thousands of hours, so it's a good long-term investment to spend a very small proportion of that time gaining a sound education and building a business that will last for years and generate useful revenue for years.
I own a site that was built 12 years ago and is still earning useful revenue, month after month, year after year. (Not THIS site - AssociatePrograms.com is only 10 years old.) _________________ Allan Gardyne

A free blog is a good way to get your feet wet. If you take your time and read everything you can find on SEO and building sites you will be better in the long run. Once you make your own site and start to do SEO you will be able to do it for yourself as many times as you like for as many sites as you like.
You will be ahead in the long run learning how to build own site and SEO so you can make as many sites as you want and increase your earnings yourself. _________________ Surveys that pay

... but I guess you have to be prepared to put in the time to make the $$$'s. You can't expect to earn big dollars without any effort.
Just my thoughts anyway. _________________ Free Trial for Site Build It |

I think many top internet marketers support the idea of building authority sites as a way to create a long term income. In that case it is worth the effort and hours it takes to build it up. View it as as asset.
Allan is right in that we are all going to live many thousands of hours so what is wrong using some of that time to be making money several years from now on the work we do now and in the immediate future. _________________ Jeff Schuman

If you do not want to build a site, the best thing to do is buy a domain name relevent to your product.
Then forward it and mask it to your affiliate link. That way, it looks professional and you don't have this long link people might not click on. Potenial customers click on your url and it takes them directly to your coded link. _________________ 100% Natural and Organic Diet

True, but there are many ways you can promote an affilite web site for free. Just as you would promote your own site. I like affiliate marketing except the fact I do not have contol over the site. _________________ 100% Natural and Organic Diet
